They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

Part of the ongoing automated call scams. When answering the call, there is a split second blimp where the automated answer kicks in. Not even a human on the other end. Someone needs to trace the number to the property which rang it and cut their lines.

Apparently (according to the recorded message, not a real person talking) there is a warrant registered with HMRC against my name for fraud, and if I don't press 1 to connect to an operator, I will be arrested shortly. This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!
