Answered call which then played pre-recorded message purporting to be about amazon prime renewal and to press 1 if I didn't wish to renew. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …

Suspicious call claiming to be from Virgin Media regarding my internet. Line quality was terrible & the agents accent was really thick, so very hard to understand her. Wanted me to download something, hung up. Confirmed with Virgin Media that no issues with my internet & this was a scam.
