Automated message stating that foreign transactions had appeared on my bank card but did not state which bank or confirm my name or details. Went on to ask me to press '2' to cancel the transactions, so I hung up and checked the phone number out. It is unobtainable and has no ratings with you so I wrote this one. Take care. Definitely not a bank!

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.
someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Automated voice telling me it's Amazon and there has been two transactions on my bank card today. Over the last two days I have had similar calls from different numbers.

I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. 01420 563233 called using my name and was obviously from India area. He reckoned he was speaking from Amazon and wanted to talk about an iphone I had ordered at about £740 apparently. Told him to get off the line or I will report him to the police. No doubt what the scam is he wasn't going to do it on me.
