This person is a serial scammer and fraudster who responds to wanted ads placed on Gumtree. Usually uses the main identity of Marlon on Gumtree, but sometimes uses his alleged daughters details: Zara Hussain. They then provide pictures of items for sale in a response to your ads, eventuay agree a price, provide fake identity details and asks for a deposit and the items will be posted by them. Allegedly from Amazon telling me my transaction for £ 1400 + had been stopped and inviting me to contact them in the call. I do not have any outstanding purchases from Amazon for £1400 or anything actually so put phone down and blocked the number.

They just called me this afternoon which I ignored but found info on other sites so I phoned them and have confirmed who they are. The company is called Mark Group . They are a company that specialise in cavity wall insulation and solar panels. They are based in Ashford, Kent. They did some insulation work for me just under a year ago, very quick & very good, but not sure on the "cold calling" front.

When called there is a message, claims to be XLN Business Telecom concerning account. Advises caller to telephone 0808 1683092. Often calls at least four times a week, sometimes twice daily. Ignore as frequently called numbers are domestic not business, or businesses where the company does not have an account with XLN.

after signing up some competitions online to get some vouchers. I am guessing the website has given my details to this company. I received various calls, spam e-mails and msg.s since yesterday. I didn t answer the calls and didn t respond the texts that I ve received. Stop harassing me!!!
This came as a text message saying you passed the credit check for ?800, we need to transfer it to your bank account ASAP, and then a link provided to cash-directuk.net for them to transfer money. A SCAM , please don t give bank details to these people I never applied for any loans at all.

The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.
