Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.

But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. Scam caller, saying they are from Openreach doing a check as there is a report of a fault and to check my emails. I challenged her before she finished speaking as I knew it was a scam, and she hung up, but obviously would persist if a vulnerable person had answered.
