Just received a call from this number, they claim to be Gladstone Brooks. They did know my name, but may have just guessed that I d made a ppi claim in the past. Said I d phone back but I don t trust them.

I got scammed like the last two posters on Saturday 26th June, but at Frankley on the M5 at around 11.30am. I reported it to West Midlands Police and to Action Fraud but have not had a follow up from either yet. Silver Vauxhall VIG2342, very convincing and grateful manner, same story about returning from Belgium and needing money to get back to Ireland and feed his children, same mobile number (07721 950844) - also introduced me to his children and happy to show me his ID.
