An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

Nuisance call. calling twice a day.
Phoned me and an Indian sounding lady told me she was from BT openreach about my broadband but on the line she called I don't have internet and I have no internet with BT at all so I put the phone down, be careful I think they want your details.

SCAM / SPAM also have alternate london numbers. have blocked a few and then get called by a new one. have been adding the numbers to tru callers spam database so if you have the app they should get blocked automatically.

phoned for 21 seconds. appears to be a call centre as they typically hang up if you don t answer between 20 and 23 seconds

Automated caller stating that my internet was to be disconnected as it had been compromised in several countries. I was advised to press 1 to be connected to an advisor who would then help me to change my IP provider ! This is not the first time I have had a call like this but from 2 different numbers.On the first occasion I ignored it and contacted my provider on that occasion who told me that it was a scam. SCAM They call claiming to be from the Insurance Review Company advising that they want to review your life insurance policy but they do not have any details of any insurance policy to give. When I advised I thought this was a scam call they hung up immediately.

SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.

Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!
