These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. My property was repossessed in 2010, by the bank who then put touchstone in charge and they let the property through an estate agent, during this time someone they let the property too ran up a bill with Scottish power. I have received five calls today (all to my answerphone). The numbers were initially from Mumbai and finally ended with 01825 371251. No messages were left and it is my guess ...

General opinion seems to be that it is Tesco. I don`t shop with them and have none of their other products/services, so not sure why they phoned

This number rings me on evenings and Saturdays and when I answer they just hang up. The second time this happened I rang the number back and it said you were called by pension booster, we will call you back again . I googled the company and e-mailed them to stop contacting me. They did for about 2 weeks and now they are bombarding me.

Phoned my mobile twice in 45 minutes, so it must have been important that they contact me, but they never left a voicemail which makes me think it must be a scam company cold calling. Yes, cold calling as I never ask companies to contact me.

Boilers for people on benefits. They keep changing their number.

They call and hang up - then when you call them their opening line is "Are you responding to a missed call" Not even a hello - obviously their business model requires curiosity of the caller to find out who called, then they try to trap you into getting a boiler and loft insulation that are apparently part of the greendeals fund run by the government - you can do this yourself without someone taking a cut if you really want. Just another PPI type firm.

They have been calling me all week. This is really enough EE or Orange or whatever!

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.
