These cold callers are annoying. If its not PPi, or accident, or people trying to sell you fake goods, its money making scum trying to scam you. Called saying they were my energy supplier and wanted me to renew on the telephone. They are not an energy company and are trying scare tactics with the current situation regarding the energy crisis. Ignore, delete, do not give them any of your information, do not agree to anything. They record your calls also so be careful.

They nearly had me by bamboozling me into giving them my card details before they had even told me what the payment back figures were for my £2000 loan, which they had called me to tell me that they were willing to give me. HSBC- sent me a text stating that a new device had registered onto my account, with a link to a website, I did not click on the link as I do not have nor has anyone else within my close family had an account with this bank, as I did not click on the link I am unaware to possibility of the link being harmful, all I will say, if you do not have an account with this bank and do get a text like myself do not click onto it, there is a high possibility it could be a scam, or a general mistake on the banks behalf

Claimed to be calling about plumbing and drainage policy I have with a company called Secure your Home. I have no such policy! Scammer looking for bank details.
It s a well known scam. Don t bother calling them back. The number might appear to be normal geographic but they might have rigged it to charge you premium rate.
Stated they are British gas, they are not, very broken English. Saying meter expired and need reading and contract needed renewing, which neither were true.
