Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

Scam text supposedly from HSBC bank to my husband that he has authorised a payment to Mr C Jones. nWe don’t have a HSBC bank account, & he doesn’t know a Mr C Jones.
