SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
Nuisance call, keeps ringing constantly every day.
Called today saying it was EE. The lady I spoke to was extremely polite and friendly and offered me a ?6 discount a month on my home Broadband package PLUS 1500 minutes Anytime mobile minutes a month. I was paying ?6 a month more for landline calls only so a great saving. If you are a loyal EE customer I advise people to answer this call

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Fake call. If you call back you are told it is an incorrect number.
This is obviously a scam - slight delay on answering and recorded message cut in, but as soon as it stated this is HMRC I cut off the call.

Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not sure what category to put the caller under.
