SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. Had a silent call to my ex-directory number today. Caller listened to what must have been a full minute to me saying "Hello, hello - Is there anyone there?" etc, before hanging up.
This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Scam. They pretend they are from EIST research centre that belong to the university of Liverpool. They asked for home address, phone numbers, emails and bank details. I gave them all wrong information. I phoned the university of Liverpool and they confirmed the number listed above is not their phone numbers.
When you answer they just put phone down.
