Someone with very poor grasp of english, call centre in the background. Said they were called Global Business Solutions, asking to speak to someone who hadn t lived at the address my phone number is listed at, for two years and who definitely doesn t need a debt reduction company as they have no debts that need reducing. Clearly using a very old cold-calling list that someone has sold them.

SCAM / SPAM 0203 468 5940 is more than likely a scammer . Male with Scottish Accent phoned asking if I had enquired about an Isa. I have not spoken or electronically enquired about an Isa in years. So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. He was pleasant enough but that in itself is a trick of the trade, and he as all scammers are thinking about there next bite. BEWARE.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not sure what category to put the caller under.
