Auto message from a supposed UK Crime Agency. I didn t listen to any of the content after they had stated who they were pretending to be.
This was a Bt internet scam call.
Gave her name and the name of the company then said they were asking householders to take part in a survey, at which point I interrupted her with a two-word response. The thing is I m registered with the TPS and shouldn t receive calls like this.
I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
