Repeated calls over a period of a month. Then switched to UNKNOWN number and continued to call. Each caller was direct and rather nasty. When I called them up on the fact they got rather hostile and continued to call.

Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.

This company keeps calling asking for Mrs Ball, who has never lived here, I bought this house before it was built, so I should know. Have also had a mobile number from the same company ringing, fortunately I was out. Both numbers now blocked.
This caller pretends to be from BT accounts department offering a refund on your account. When I challenged them and told them that the number is most definitely not BT accounts they hung up. Do not give them any information- hang up immediately

Another con job phone call. I have no reations here, I have no business contacts here, I have no friends here. In other words there is no one that should be calling me from this location. This being the case they are only trying to get money out of me. These are nothing but dead beats a waste of time and con artists, hence untrustworthy. Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.
