A voice from this number told me that my national insurance nunber had been cancelled and that i had been involved in illegal activity - i havent! Therefore when it also told me i was going to be arrested unless i pressed number 1 i knew it was a scam!

Had a missed call. Called them back. It was a computer generated message that tells me the break down cover on my set top box is due to renew. But no details on who the caller is to tell if this is fake or not.

Says they are calling fom BT about a problem with internet speed and need to log onto my laptop to fix it. I kept them on the phone for about 30 mins playing along until I got bored and told them they would need to book an appointment if they wanted to try scam me.
Recorded Message received at 13:29 on 1st Nov 2018 claiming to be Nicole from BT saying that my IP address had been compromised and that if I pressed 1 on my handset that their engineers would rectify the problem, otherwise ALL of our internet and Wi-Fi service would be suspended within 24 hours (see also 01939848683) for same threatening message.

Phone my elderly father's landline initially on 26/09/2020, seeking payment for a fictitious vitamin/turmeric order. Blocked. Phone log indicates they've attempted calling a further 9 times since!
this number rang me and then rang off when I answered. This is the usual pattern used by scammers piggy-backing someone else's number.

I called the number back and received a recorded message: The number you have dialed has not been recognised. So must conclude that it is Scam/Spam.
