Message left on answerphone from HMRC (?) threatening legal action if call not returned immediately. Ended "have a blessed day" which seemed odd, otherwise I would have returned the call.

Apparently they have information about an accident I haven t had and I should receive up to £40 000 damages. Have you noticed how the legal profession would like us to respect them but they seem powerless to stop some of their members from promoting this kind of s**t?

I m not sure why people are saying the are scammers pretending to be EE, the number is on their actual site as one of their direct partner numbers. However I still would not recommend picking up as EE broadband has terrible service. My advice is head for the hills and don t look back.

Be very carefull. Scammers are using this number in text messages to appear to be genuine BT enginers. Rather worrying as they appear to be organising a home visit. They are not BT.

This company claimed to be Global Legal Escrow. Their website was registered in July. The site if lacking in information. Obviously a scam

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Cut off with when phone picked up but we kept silent and it went dead. Wonder if the message is voice activated as we did not speak. It will have been the usual scam recorded ...

called about a Life insurance I had in 2009 I know nothing about it. May have been with Fortis? I said that life insurance is blackmail and I would spend the money while I am alive. Surprisingly he accepted this and we parted on good terms

My family had a missed call from this number. I called it back and a very confused man answered. He seemed genuine and said he had had some spam calls there himself. Seems to be a mystery.

Scam Text claiming to be from Hermes asking for £1.45 for redelivery with internet link. Told them I'll collect it from the depot and asking for location. Not expecting a response.
