SCAM Received call about the 'free' medical alert system 'worth £200' with reply freephone given as 08000487800. The 01202159xxx number is probably 'spoofed' as it is in line with a string of calls received recently in the same number group, but the last 3 digits keep changing to avoid call blockers. This is the first time that a message has been left.
I got a phone call from this number, as I did the 1471 to hear the number back. The man said his name was John and wanted to speak to my brother. He new his name and said he owed money and they wished to speak to him. My mother answered the call but wouldn t give up any details, but she kept asking them questions about who they were and why they were ringing. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY!! DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!

Recorded message Stating they are from visa and saying £900 has been taking form a visa account. I hung up before it got to the end.
SCAM - recorded message telling that it was Visa Debot services calling and that an unauthorised payment was about to go out from my account unless I pressed 1 now. Also came with the international dialing code 0041 before the number 2089827472 - very dodgy or what???

Fraud, was rung by this number this morning, nothing was said but computer voice said "Goodbye" and ended the call. Tried to ring this number back as was expecting call from a customer and network reply was "Number not recognized.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Missed call. No idea who's number this is as never seen the caller's number before. I've never had this caller before to my mobile number, just that I've never answered landline numbers because they sting the credits on my mobile phone hence why I won't pick up. Not totally sure whether they're just a call centre or a scam, but they seemed to have some patchy information about our company and tried using it to speak to someone (the wrong person, just a name they'd found who knows where) about our payment systems, claiming to be from "DNA Payments". I couldn't tie this number to that company online so I assumed it was fake and blocked the number.

Marketing call - did not try to get past the call monitoring otherwise would have pointed out on TPS list so they are breaking law.
