Claimed to be from Amazon saying an order for £795 has been blocked on amazon account - suspect this is a phishing scam
Hourly calls received for 2 days so far, after I stupidly entered my correct phone number on an insurance comparison site (Quotezone - avoid at all costs). Ive never answered the calls and am unable to block them on my current phone or via my call provider, so I m buying a phone which has call barring on it. Ridiculous to think I have to do that, but I cant be doing with hourly calls, since yesterday and starting today, Saturday morning at 9.10am.

Some one telling me I've been in an accident. Which I haven't. They ask for name and postcode when calling. Dont give it them!
This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Unsolicited marketing Call for PPI to a TPS registered number.
Every day for the last week I've been receiving numerous text messages about deliveries supposedly mine from DHL. They're definitely not mine! I'm always asked to click on a track and trace link which I don't because it doesn't look right coming from a mobile number, Also receiving daily calls from the same mobiles starting with 07964 378 with the last 3 digits always different. I'm sure this must be a scam.

have called me twice everyday for the last 6 days - Scottish Power - i believe to be a cold call.
If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. Someone called my mobile from this number 02087258118, using an automated voice, saying they were going to suspend my National Insurance number because of unusual activity!! Very threatening and loud voice saying I had to ring back this number immediately. To me that sounds like a scam because anything serious and legal they would have phoned and spoken to me and sent an email. Its twice now that my mobile number has been contacted by scammers and its getting really annoying.
