Had ring me 2 days in a row. A man with a very strong Indian accent said he was ringing from O2 saying as a loyal O2 customer I qualify for a discount on my O2 monthly bill. When he started asking me to go into messages to see a text he was sending to me I decided it sounded dodgy and hung up. Today I just told them I don't believe they are ringing from O2 and told them to F off before hanging up.
Claiming to be O2 giving me a 30% discount but reading off a script and could not answer questions I posed without saying maam several times and then going back to the script

I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.
