They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. i have has several calls a day in the last couple of weeks from this "company" asking for someone ive never heard of,my landline is ex directory,when told this they say its the number they have been given for contact by this person,ive told them they are wrong,go check the address they have for this person,then check the electoral role for who lives at my address,,they replied with"we have no address for the client as it was done online,,what utter rubbish,ive had enough and im losing patience

It comes up with a local number but that is not where they are calling from. They had my name and were maybe trying their luck to see if I had had an accident in the last 3 years. Each time they say they will take me off their database when I say I haven t.

Have received the same message from these scumbags, from same number even though my mobile is registered with TPS. Have reported it to Vodafone VSPAM 87726 and they have logged it as a SPAM sender. That generally means I will not receive any more SPAM from that number (need to be a Vodafone customer to do this).

I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease
