Received a call, when answered it disconnected, then tried calling back, unable to connect also had a missedcall From ?01753 913600? slough, London number same day. Think they may be connected

I have had 8 calls from this number in 2 days saying i have a problem with my internet and they are calling from virgin media.
nBEWARE THIS IS A SCAM JUST HANG UP.

These people are phoning me from 8.30am until late at night, asking if im me and going through security questions to verify who i am. I tell them ive already spoken to someone but i have to go through the same old crap four or five times a day. My property was repossessed in 2010, by the bank who then put touchstone in charge and they let the property through an estate agent, during this time someone they let the property too ran up a bill with Scottish power. Be careful. This is a local number to my area but they are the usual scammers pretending to be from TalkTalk. I suspect they are hiding their real contact number.

Some body called me from this number and when I answered no body talk just I heard lighter noise.

Talked to the guy today calling from this number, he said he represents car phone warehouse and wants to offer a new upgrade. I have never had any deals on phone and I am not gonna have any in future either. Just lost all my trust because of all these scammers and spammers.

Save it to Contacts and name it Nuisance or something more appropriate. When it rings you will know not to answer it. If you ignore it enough it will stop.

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

HMRC scam. Told me I was being taken to court for tax fraud but could avoid this by paying them 4k. I had to go to my bank and open an account and make it available to them.

Call me professionally often unknown numbers so I went off even with this. Unfortunately, was launched directly. Even with further calls was always in the mood. So I let it ring and also left no message.

Caller claimed to be fron accident investigation unit and wanted to know about an accident to someone on my phone number. When asked where he got the information he said the road safety authority. This is an authority in Ireland dealing with Irish roads. I an in England!!

Informed that i had been involve d in a car accident, when i stated that this was not so she put the phone down, she had stated that she was phoning from a company but because of her acsent i did not get the name. On returning the call i am informed that it is not a recognisable number.

This came as a text message saying you passed the credit check for ?800, we need to transfer it to your bank account ASAP, and then a link provided to cash-directuk.net for them to transfer money. A SCAM , please don t give bank details to these people I never applied for any loans at all.
