Received unsolicited calls from 0114 319 0673 even though I m signed up to the telephone preference service. Looks like they are faking their outgoing number which means they must be scammers. Don t bother answering or calling back.

They called me up at 5:25 in the morning and when I answered they didn t even bother responding. I m repeatedly getting calls like this from these stupid marketing companies.

I just checked this number as I got suspicious. A guy called Glen Lowther is supposed to be coming to my house in an hour to sell advertising space for Wood brook Medical Centre, Loughborough. When I call the number no-one replies. Will they come to my house?

Received call ten minutes ago. no message left.

They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.

"This is windows service, we find you have computer problems and will fix with AVG." Spent 40 mins isolating faults in my system and fixing. Computer now working faster. Paid £300 for lifetime AVG by credit card. Am I crazy!? [email protected]

I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! Wondered where they got my telephone number from???? I blocked them

Caller with strong indian accent asked for me by name then when asked said he was from "Electricity Board". When I asked which electricity company he hung up.

I don't answer cold calls. Will NEVER buy from a cold call company.
