Scammer calling to gather your details under a guise of "HMRC" accusing you of tax fraud. HMRC would ALWAYS send you a letter, and when they call or email, they would ask for consent first via letter
looks pretty much as a scam. The lady is mumbling very fast the company name. same voice called me couple weeks ago from a different number pretending to be from a different company. "you've been involved in an accident that wasn't your fault"

SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. I missed a call from what appeared to be a mobile 07937933921 I rang back but no one spoke but found on my next bill that I had a charge for personal numbering to ring this number back and I have mobile calls included for free normally. Beware you will pay a premium to ring this number and it isn t an 070 number!
