I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! Wondered where they got my telephone number from???? I blocked them
I didn't recognise the number so I hung up and found more out here. I'll block the number now I know it's dodgy.

Be careful. This is a local number to my area but they are the usual scammers pretending to be from TalkTalk. I suspect they are hiding their real contact number.

So stupid Amazon never calls people for purchases even if you buy £1000s of pounds items. They dont care all their products are from their customers with guaranteed insurance and return policy. These are both premium-rate, non-geographic numbers, and if they have called you, probably spoofed anyway - they tend to be used for TV/radio phone-in competitions.
