Called me on my mobile today at 12:30 and left a 2 minute long voicemail of someone breathing. After reading comments of 01369 numbers it's in Scotland and some scam compan...
Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.
2 missed calls from this number to my personal mobile today. I have been a member of the Labour Party for 6 years and presumably that it why I was called. It is different to other numbers used by Labour when, say, trying to get money from me. Presumably the nature of the call (had I answered) would have been along the lines of other calls from this number listed on this page.
I received a call from two british east Indian sounding guys saying that they were calling from The online trading academy. The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. A call from this number that was a recorded message. It was an Amazon payment scam call. I called back and got a reply. I tried to tell the man who answered that I thought his number was hijacked by scammers. He hung up probably thinking I was the scammer.
