SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Scam pretending to be Three mobiles - rude and abusive when I confirmed that I am currently taking Three to court for their poor service, so I know that they would not be marketing me.
Clearly fraudsters trying to get money on basis of '' your bank / credit card has been used for a non authorised payment of £1100'' and encouragement to press option 1 to resolve the issue.
Caller said a £900 payment was on my visa card and could I verify it.I hung up.

Robotic female American voice telling me I'm wanted for unpaid taxes. I hung up but caller stayed online for 30 seconds before disconnecting. Quite alarming and I think many people would be quite frightened by this.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!
Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. I told them it was newly renovated and remove me from their calling list or I would report as a nuisance call. He hung up
