I have had two calls from this number today and when I answer they ring off.
This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. Automated calls are extremely annoying as 1) All you can do is hang up (best option) and 2) They obviously don t deem you important enough to at least get a human being to pester you. Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Has mental health problems and no support worker, someone has bought a bunch of stuff in accounts in my name. This is harassment considering another company was harassing me for the same reason, though they were nicer about giving me time to collect evidence. Apparently I took to long as they fobbed me off with this bunch.

Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!

Appears to be scam call from somebody with Asian accent pretending to be from BT offering to improve internet connection and security, wants to know if you are using a 'smart' device at home (e.g. laptop, ipad, phone) but not interested in 'helping' if it is not a personal 'smart' device.
