Called by an Asian gent who eventually answered me (suspicious already) said he was a technician calling from some company or other (couldn t resolve company name) and said I had something wrong with my computer updates. What! I told him I was an IT Consultant (truth) and he started telling me what to do. Several times I told him he was a scammer but he completely ignored me. A recorded voice said something about £200 and to press ...and they would....if no response from me. It had been marked as suspicious. I ignored it.

Going by the name of ENVIRO today, may be different tomorrow...

Scam. Claiming to be from Microsoft about hackers accessing computer and installing dangerous software on it. Have your name and address (easily available from phone book) to add 'authenticity'. Had fun winding them up as obviously a scam. They just want access to your computer so don't engage with them.

Cold calling is not the way to sell windows or home improvements. Especially when you are a victim of a crime where you re trying to deal with police and a useless phone call from an aggressive cold calling company. I wish people would stop selling other peoples phone numbers.

This number rings, when i answer no one there then they hang up! when i ring it back it rings then goes to answer machine! Probably a scam! Beware!

These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.
