This number sent text saying Royal Mail parcel was waiting for redelivery and that there was £1.99 to pay. There was a link below. I believe this is a scam text trying to get money, we are not expecting a parcel and even if we were, where would they get a mobile number from for someone who hasn't given Royal Mail their number?
The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. HMRC scam. Told me I was being taken to court for tax fraud but could avoid this by paying them 4k. I had to go to my bank and open an account and make it available to them.
Claimed be calling from somewhere that sounded like CAB, but wasn t, telling me they had received legal notification of outstanding debts I had to pay. Hung up when I told him I didn t, number will not receive calls.
