A call from this number that was a recorded message. It was an Amazon payment scam call. I called back and got a reply. I tried to tell the man who answered that I thought his number was hijacked by scammers. He hung up probably thinking I was the scammer.

Caller didn t introduce herself. Said I had been in a non-fault accident. Said that was incorrect so she said very in a very morose tone that I d be removed from database and hung up on me. Asked where she was calling from and she wouldn t answer nor would she say how she got my number. She didn t even know my name so how she thought I was in an accident I don t know.

Since we all know that this is a big scam designed to rip off unsuspecting people, I fail to see why the police cant shut these people down - or better still why they cant administer a ?500.00 fine to the number, which they would have to pay to their service provider.

QUICK LOAN FINANCE and provided a website address and a London Address at 223 International House, in Regents Park. Please do not be taken in by these Guys. They nearly had me by bamboozling me into giving them my card details before they had even told me what the payment back figures were for my £2000 loan, which they had called me to tell me that they were willing to give me. Text me asked me if I remembered their call last year about a funeral plan. Said he was Dave Simmons Funeral Founder. I couldn't remember the call so I checked their number turned out the number was used many times acting as HMRC inland revenue tax, Accident Claims Advisors, British Gas blocked number and reported to Action Fraud and Police.

Apparently (according to the recorded message, not a real person talking) there is a warrant registered with HMRC against my name for fraud, and if I don't press 1 to connect to an operator, I will be arrested shortly. A man claimed to work for bitcoin.com and said that I'd signed up to make money online. I've been called over 20 times a day from people who claim to be from some financial company for the past 2 weeks (they make up a new name each time). Numbers probably spoofed but tend to start 0161768, 0161818 , 0113301 or 0113868. Normally decline and block but have answered a couple to ask them to stop. This one swore at me when I asked.
