Yet another call from an unknown number in Abingdon, fortunately I was away from the 'phone at the time. As I don't know them I am assuming this is a scam of some sort.
Phoned saying they were from BT and I had a very serious internet problem - caller was clearly from India, so I asked him what part of England he was calling from and he said London, even though the number says Pickering. Was very insistent that I had a serious internet problem, in the end I just hung up

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

Rang today and left a message that a suspicious amount of £799 had been charged to our card attached to our Amazon account. Press 1 to respond. Didn't of course. Obviously a scam.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. There try and get you to give them your bank details, once you do there will steal money from your account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION!

Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. Tried to ring my mobile saying jenny from microsoft about an issue in my pc! I told her i was recording our phone call because i know nobody from the Garstang area & i do not even own any pc or laptop She quickly ended the call Number has now been reported & blocked
Call from this number 020 7928 4189 on 22/03/2023 saying they were from my bank as two unrecognized payments were going out. As the number called is a work number there is no way it is a call from MY bank Yet another scam :-(
