Silent call, then hang up. Possibly trying to get return call to a premium rate number. I think the number shown on my mobile may be a spoof number to prompt me to reply and be diverted to the premium rate real number. This is the second time in 2 days I have reported a problem. SCAM- whole week am receiving phone calls either from different mobile numbers or London area code numbers, including this one! Saying either my national insurance number has been reported ? Is there even such thing? Or now most recently informed me of the tax fraud that has been registered on my name? Then they always threaten of the legal action that will be taken , someone will investigate me or that someone will come to arrest me unless I “press ‘1’ now” if I don’t pick up they don’t leave a voicemail..
