Got a SMS telling me something about PPI. SCAM!

Claimed to be Das Energy working with the Government to monitor energy supply rates and would check the rates we were offered at renewal against rates they could get from the same suppliers, but the started going on about they were trying to book 2017 rates for future renewals so clearing looking for a sale not at renewal. Reported to IOC as were are registered with TPS.

There I should no company R Sole in Reading. Someone has use this name. Instead of the rude word. I have had this number call a few times. How do they get my mobile number??? I have now blocked it.

I also get lots of calls from this number. I asked the nature of the company and why they are calling me for. The chap normally gets very aggressive repeating to me over and over that I am owed PPI from my bank. I just kept asking the nature of the call and what the name of his company. Scam line. Calls are made from outside of the UK (Gold Coast), trying to get recipients to visit a scam website. The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one. If you call them back you are diverted to the caller in the Gold Coast. Do not call. Do not respond. Report this to the police.

I received two calls from them yesterday, they hung up.....got a call today, picked it up immediately and a chap said he was from Ideal World....having seen the comments here he asked to speak to me. I said "hold the line, I ll get her for you" Then left him hanging on for 15 mins.....went back, he was still there, I said "hold on I ll get her for you" left him another 15 mins...then I hung up hahhhhaa......if you don t put the phone down, they can t use the phone until you do apparently?

Fake call. If you call back you are told it is an incorrect number.

Dangerous scammers pretending to be from HMRC, threatening immediate arrest for non-existent unpaid taxes unless they get an instant payment! Don t pick up the call - or if you already did, just end the call, don t press any keys - and if they ve left you an intimidating voicemail DON T call them back. Don t worry, there will be NO legal consequences, there is NO arrest warrant, these bullies are just trying to scare you.

Some woman rang me using this number and said that could make a claim from being in a car accident. I never had a car accident but didn t let her know that I just questioned who it was calling and they hung up.

Caller advised that they were a current supplier which is not true, went to check and called back to state that they are a supplier and continuously asked for the correct name as their records were outdated. Persistent nuisance caller.
