These people called concerning PPI. I was foolish enough to reply STOP and it charged my 50 pence. Clearly, this is a scam and these people must be stopped before they de-fraud more users.

On the 8th of this month had a call from a man asking about cover and sickness didn't really understand what he was saying son I said no put the phone down
HMRC fraud. Computer generated voice tells that they are the HMRC and that there is a fraud case in my name, if I don't press 1 to get connected to an advisor an arrest warrant will be issued. Very unimaginative scare tactic, very obvious that they will try to defraud people. Didn't have the time and couldn't be bothered messing with them, so just hung up.
I didn t answer. Tried to return the call but it when straight to an automated message, stating that they were calling me about my recent claim, that I didn t make.

Silvershine Services. 4 calls in 48 hrs all from Leicester based numbers. Call starts off with an automated voice asking about accident details. After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. Phoned my mobile this morning.Looks like from previous comments, they are saying they are from the same area of the country as the person being called, in this instance the south west. Said my name had been put forward for a payment as I had in the past worked in a factory with noise & machines. He could NOT tell me who had put my name forward, which factory I had worked at or when.As I ve never worked in a factory I dragged the call out as long as poss before he hung up.
