Called twice. First time line was silent. The second time 'Chris' telling me he was from an energy efficiency agency and my loft insulation was insufficient. He said that I could have a fee government survey. I told him I had a had a loft conversion, and there was no such thing as a government insulation survey. He hung up. Definite scam.

I m so glad i Googled the number while talking to this lovely lady, yes all fair and well it might a great deal and for a worthy cause but I m already giving to my own choice of charity so was not prepared to risk 79.99 being taken from my account should i miss the cut off point or they take it earlier than stated. SCAM Answered call, advised to press 1 or a warrant for my arrest would be issued. Said it was HMRC and there was a fraud investigation in my name. I advised before I provided personal details, could they advice the reason for the call as no letters had been issued. The caller terminated the call.

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR!
