SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. She'd done the "How are you this morning?", like a lot of the phone scams do. Nothing was said about security questions! Suspect this was another scam call.

SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.

My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. HMRC scam saying that there has been fraud on my account and asked for details of my lawyer and who is going to represent me in court.
I said "yes, I had lots of accidents. which one specifically are you referring to? Which date? Which car?" He could not give me the details. I told him it was strange that he had my name and phone number but no details of my accident. I suggested that his records were in fact just a telephone directory. He hung up.
