Told me they were from BT Cyber Security but we are not with BT. Rang Back on 004930268864 and said he had just phoned. I said not with BT but he said he knew but put down the phone. The number rang twice but no message left on answerphone.

Called by these people offering a free loft roof space check, assured no money involved but if anything detected we would have two years to decide. Loft space checked and said to be in poor state for mould and decay of boards, told it would cost £8k to fix but if we went onto the express service it would be £6,400 but we had to book in right away. We asked for time to think about it and he then appeared to call a colleague who agreed to lower price to £6k but we must firm immediately. We declined.

SCAM Fraud - Said they were from Sky offering refund because of issues with phone and internet- We don't have any sky package and the person had quoted the family name but were sketchy with first name and even misspelt it when I was pushing who they wanted to talk to and then they hanged up when I said it was a scam call.
Her name is Fakre and she reserved manicure procedure in a beauty place in Bulgaria and for the second time she is not coming. So she is a lier, do not trust this number!

TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Scam I had this number ring me an auto message started about 9seconds in and saying its from HMRC then it cut out mid sentence. I rang back the number a good couple of times and keeps telling me phone is switched off. Not sure if its a scam/fraud

SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt. I had a bit of spare time so I turned the conversation upside down and started grilling her. She allegedly got my details from GRS which she said was a government agency. Male on this number rattled off who he was too quick to understand who he was representing. Then with quite assertiveness started to ask me personal questions about my property. I refused to answer any of his questions and phone was disconnected.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?
