Appears to be scam call from somebody with Asian accent pretending to be from BT offering to improve internet connection and security, wants to know if you are using a 'smart' device at home (e.g. laptop, ipad, phone) but not interested in 'helping' if it is not a personal 'smart' device.
I received a phone call on my landline from a female caller, Asian accent, purporting to be from Google. The caller asked if I had received the warning messages they had sent to my computer. I was informed that these were not emailed messages but were in my computer and that if I was in front of my computer the caller would show me where to find them. I then attempted to terminate the call the caller said that if you chose to ignore this call you will be deregistered from Google. I terminated the call.

This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. This number was used by John Raph on a fraudulent website with a fraudulent email address claiming to be the HR manager of a real UK company offering jobs to overseas workers - at impossibly high rates of pay. The offers of repaying costs for visas and travel was obviously not real. The website was taken down within 3 hours and the email account blocked within 11 minutes.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.
This number called me and was silent when I picked up. I listened for a while without speaking and eventually someone said hello but I rang off

Scam leaving voice messages saying there is a law suit against me and that if I don't act, my NIH number will be void. Phoned them back up, a gentleman in a call centre picked up, saying "HMRC, this is Steve speaking". Said they were BT and going to terminate my internet unless they could have access to my PC. I said I do not have a PC which is true and the Asian sounding lady hung up. They were not from BT and have called me many times before pretending to be BT or Microsoft or the TPS. They are scammers after your bank details. They also change their phone number slightly to try and get past people blocking them. I have so far blocked 01525 510006 and same number ending in 7 and 9. Hang up and block, they are scammers.
