Called twice. First time line was silent. The second time 'Chris' telling me he was from an energy efficiency agency and my loft insulation was insufficient. He said that I could have a fee government survey. I told him I had a had a loft conversion, and there was no such thing as a government insulation survey. He hung up. Definite scam.

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

They told me I had won ?5000 cheque for my case against bank for ppi on loan I took out few years ago, I had to pay ?250 ucash cheque to a guy who would come to my house first then I d get ?5000, I got cut off when I tried to ring back cust serv no she gave me ?? :/
note a fake number called me and asked for the data from the investigation department, I did not know, I gave my name, surname and address and realized that it was not true
SPAM - I had to wait while they connected so seemed like a scam, asked for Mr. Newman (not known here but not the first time I have had someone asking for him), when I said it was the wrong number he said "why are you lying? Why are you f*ing lying".
Fraud - recorded message pretending to be from the national crime agency... issues about my national insurance number and said that I could be arrested. Absolutely rubbish.

Missed calls/nuisance calls from this number. Rang at 1.00a.m. on 19.07.21 (one ring only) which disturbed and concerned me in the middle of the night. Rang twice tonight, first time it was a missed call, the caller didn't even allow the phone to ring the second time, less than one second.

This number rang my 84 year old mother and told her that her boiler warranty is about to run out (her boiler is very old and as far as she knows she s never had a warranty on it.) They persuaded her to sign up for a new warranty and she gave her bank card details. I m going to take her to the bank tomorrow to find out how much they took from her card. This number caller is a pain. Only answered once told them never been in accident but they still call at least 3 times a day. So how John who works for this firm can say "we don,t bother people again if there are not interested" obviously doesn,t know the concept of not interested ,dont call again.Dont answer.
