I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.

18 Oct 2021 - Fraud, claims to be HMRC and threatens suspension of national insurance number, is spoofed from one of the numbers from bristol county court (council civil court not a magistrates court as far as I am aware but maybe I'm wrong), it is not a number for any of the normal departments but instead it is for the Listings department. 1000% scammers committing the worst kind of fraud.Reply
got this call from San Antonio, Texas, USA at quarter to 11 in the morning, 15th Aug 2015. Didn't answer, no message left. think its a scam

When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance. Dodgy how they've somehow ended up with my info.

Annoying! Foreign people on the phone that can t even pronounce my name correctly. When I ask what they want the hang up so don t get the chance to ask them to remove me from their database. Block every number that calls me.
Just told me that they were calling from HMRC and a fraud had been registered under my name and to press 1. I did not do so and when I try to call back it will not connect. I suspect a scam.

Said he was from talk talk in regards to the Internet dipping and going off a few times over the past few weeks. (which it has). Didn't ask any security information in regards to my account but proceeded to ask me how many devices are connected to my router? Told him I was uncomfortable discussing that information. He hung up. Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

Had a call from International on my blocking phone - it did not come through. One minute later I had a call from 01443741560 that also did not come through and was blocked. I called the number back and received a recorded message: The number you have dialed has not been recognised. So must conclude that it is Scam/Spam.
