SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

SCAM/FRAUD This number gave an automated ' your national insurance number has been compromised, press 1 to resovle' I hung up - googled - and saw this was a fraud scam to get your credit details.
SCAM Financial investment company that they claim I had asked to be contacted by. However they do not know my actual given name nor do they know my full name. I asked if instead of using the random name I publicly go by if they could confirm my full name and other details but could not. I’ve had several of these “investment companies” calling and fishing for details recently. All have the same “spiel” and follow the same script to their calls, with only the company name having any variations.
Left voicemail twice saying from MHRC and was filing law suit. I called back and asked who they were, said his name was Olivier and was case officer at HMRC. Asked him where he was calling from, he said 100 Parliament Street, London. I said I doubted that. He said f**k off motherf**ker and hung up!

Suddenly started getting calls from this number, sometimes twice a day. They sent me a text message saying from Mackenzie Hall and asking me to text back quoting an account number which they gave me. I ve never answered calls or text, never had a debt other than a mortgage (now paid off) and had new mobile number within last 3 months so how have they got my number and why are they bothering me!

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. Tried to sell me broadband at 40% below my cost price despite not knowing how much I pay. I mentioned on being on the TPS but he said so what . Since Talk Talk had there accounts hacked I get these types of calls each week despite having left them. Total scam.

A foreign caller rings every morning around 9.30 and sometimes in the evenings around 6.30 and asks me to complete a survey that will take 30 seconds. I have done this once (it takes a good 5 minutes) and a second time giving totally random answers. The third time I said I had already done it and was not doing it again, as I put the the phone down he was wailing my name - ...... DON T GO! Now I lift the handset but say nothing and they ring off almost immediately.
