Asian accented lady calling re a ?50 Morrisons Voucher win. When I said I hadn?t entered a completion she said it wasn?t a win more of a customer loyalty gift. I said I didn?t shop at Morrisons. She said it was actually Tesco. I realised it was a scam and hung up.

My mum received a call at 9.00pm on Tuesday from an aggressive foreign man wanting to talk to her about the car accident she had had. He was a fraudster and a scammer and because my mum did not know that such people existed she asked him what accident he was talking about and proceeded to tell him about an accident that I had had last year and one that my mum and dad had had about ten years ago. Now he won t stop calling her and that night he scared her by saying he would be round first thing in the morning

And that is a problem that Western Union have, for it is so easy for the scammers to launder money as it passes from gullible people through WU to the scammers ever growing pock...

Received an uninvited call to my landline number, claiming to be conducting a health survey on behalf of the UK Government. The health questions didn t concern me but the depth of personal info requested did. Never heard of them before today. Auto-called my mobile, asking for a Kerry Luxton. Never heard of her, ever, but other firms have also used that name. My mobile number was brand new when I got it, and hasn t been used by anyone previous to that. Anyone using an automated dialling service can **** right off, in my world, and am therefore glad to have added their number to my mobile s blocked list!

PPI Claim Company. Using local number misleading you into thinking phoning from where you live, you then answer the call only to find it's another annoying PPI claim company.
