I received two calls from them yesterday, they hung up.....got a call today, picked it up immediately and a chap said he was from Ideal World....having seen the comments here he asked to speak to me. I said "hold the line, I ll get her for you" Then left him hanging on for 15 mins.....went back, he was still there, I said "hold on I ll get her for you" left him another 15 mins...then I hung up hahhhhaa......if you don t put the phone down, they can t use the phone until you do apparently?

Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Not totally sure whether they're just a call centre or a scam, but they seemed to have some patchy information about our company and tried using it to speak to someone (the wrong person, just a name they'd found who knows where) about our payment systems, claiming to be from "DNA Payments". I couldn't tie this number to that company online so I assumed it was fake and blocked the number.
