A real person calling claiming to act on behalf of an insurance company, interested in an RTA that I was involved in within the last three years that wasn't my fault. Call from what sounded like Indian call centre. Said it was EE. Couldn’t understand word he was reciting from obvious script. I hung up.
The caller, Liam, claimed to be from Premier Rewards ... wanting to give me some money! Like, yeah!! I consider this to be a 'SPAM' call and potentially dangerous. The caller kept interrupting me - a known tactic from SPAM callers! My suggestion to anyone is to just Hang Up!

I eventually answered the call and they said something about financial services ltd Number blocked If it's important leave a voicemail, and not just a voicemail where all I can hear is you breathing!

Call received at 12.56 05 05 2023. On my Ex directory landline? I answered 'hello' that was immediately followed by 'a recorded message'? about banking security being breached (that's all) - but then they hung up. Number now blocked. Suggest call treated as 'Dangerous'!

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
