I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

An automated call but it tries to sound real by responding to your questions. Was trying to sell life insurance/funeral cover. Most likely a scam of some sort.

Had a missed call from this number on mobile and landline . I phoned it back and got music, a lady then answered and said she was from an insurance company ( no name given or when answering call) but had no details of me other than I ve been in an accident in the last 3 years........ I haven t!!!

This number caller is a pain. Only answered once told them never been in accident but they still call at least 3 times a day. So how John who works for this firm can say "we don,t bother people again if there are not interested" obviously doesn,t know the concept of not interested ,dont call again.Dont answer. SCAM / SPAM Called twice and claimed to be from a building inspection board. Wanted to organise a free inspection of my loft insulation as it was a potential fire hazard. When queried about the address he believed required inspection he hung up. Definite scam caller.
Keep getting 3 or 4 calls a day from this number. When answered caller hangs up. Bloody annoying.

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.
