I received an unsolicited call to my personal mobile, which started with the announcement that the person was "Molly" and then gave a surname and company, and went on to ask about an accident "in which you were innocent". Finally received payment, however we had to instruct another solicitor to start winding up and they paid up an hour before we were going to issue court papers. My guess is they think most people will not be bothered or do not want to lose more money. Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

Phoned twice. It was an automated message claiming to be my broadband provider stating that my broadband was about to disconnected. As the message did not state who my broadband provider was I hung up. I suspect this is a scam.

Keep getting calls and spoof texts, they claim to be Scottish Power but they are not. They tell me my number is linked o a SP account but I rang SP from their website number and they have advised me there is no account with my number. I cannot make them stop so having to change my number. It been happening for months but I ignored them until it ramped up to daily.

And from the comments above, i have to say i am also leaving Scottish Power & moving to Spark Energy to save money in my meter. Does anyone have any info on Spark Energy that i am moving to, thanks.
