This bunch have called me twice in as many days. I just had another call tonight. I m also registered with the TPS. Neither myself or my wife are in debt, but automated recordings are not to know that as the call bot relentlessly churns through its number database. SCAM, I the call started with an automated system saying it was from the department of working pensions. I was then passed on to a women with an Indian accent claiming that there was a court case against me for tax evasion. She gave me two options to continue the court case or pay the balance. I chose option one and she said “wait for the police” and then ended the call.

This phone number (01202137375) is from a representative (called Chris) of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.

After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. HMRC fraud. Computer generated voice tells that they are the HMRC and that there is a fraud case in my name, if I don't press 1 to get connected to an advisor an arrest warrant will be issued. Very unimaginative scare tactic, very obvious that they will try to defraud people. Didn't have the time and couldn't be bothered messing with them, so just hung up.
