Received an uninvited call to my landline number, claiming to be conducting a health survey on behalf of the UK Government. The health questions didn t concern me but the depth of personal info requested did. Had several calls from this number over the last few days, every time i answer the phone they hang up. I've tried ringing the number but it says the number is not in use.

Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Another con job phone call. I have no reations here, I have no business contacts here, I have no friends here. In other words there is no one that should be calling me from this location. This being the case they are only trying to get money out of me. These are nothing but dead beats a waste of time and con artists, hence untrustworthy. I have now blocked this number on my call blocker -- they wont contact me from this number again!

I had a phone call from this number on my mobile. It was a recorded message saying that the message was from HM revenue and that my name is involved with a fraud investigation. It then went on to say that I had to press 1 to find out what to do next and if I didn’t then a warrant would be issued. At this point I hung up on them.

Rang mobile, it rang twice and then cut-off before I had time to answer it.
