Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

Asian gentleman called saying he is from BT open reach suggesting I have a problem with my internet as they are seeing errors from it. He demanded I install team viewer quick support app on my iPad to takeover my iPad remotely to resolve the issue. Of course I said no and stopped the conversation … clearly a scam as BT would never ask for this …

Another 'service' calling about my unresolved landlord repair. I returned their call to ask they remove my number. As I am a Housing Rights Worker for Shelter, I am well aware of how to get repairs actioned. They went silent when I explained this. Don't use their scam 'services'- they are available elsewhere for free.

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!

He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
